Today both of us looked into the future in technology to help us with our forthcoming projects. Another reason we looked into this was because it is a very broad subject and the school's Media Dept. had recently bought new equipment to this is also why:
- First of all we looked at a 2 in 1 Wide Angle Lens which was an external lens which we could use on our mobile devices if filming was to commence on that. The name of it was 'Aukey' and I think it was a very useful tool.
- Another thing which we looked into was a GoPro Hero 4. I think this was another really useful piece of tech as it could be used in vlogs etc. when filming on the go for evidence in the long run. Also as it had different attachments to it; this meant it could have been used in bikes, bicycles, cars and also strapped on the run to ones chest. This is a very useful piece of technology.
- Finally the thing which intrigued all of us was the Card-Board VR headset. I believe this brought us into a whole new dimension in the luxury of sitting on a comfy chair. With this in mind I think that we could implement something like this for our project and also insert a video link just like this to our website in the making also. Not only will this increase the audience for our website but will get people intrigued into looking more at the website and what we do as a team of two young sixth form students.
