Today we were looking at each others blogs and getting feedback from what others thought. Jordan looked at Student talk which was a news channel and website about aspects about student life and the fundamental and psychological aspects of the mind and how it can be set for university. It was good as we shared ideas together as a group and got constructive feedback too.
For our own website, another member of the class looked at it and gave us feedback. They said she liked the animated homepage which are appealing to young people and something they can relate to. They also thought that our news topic was interesting and relevant where people can spread the word of our news package through our social media links and blog. To improve they said that if the buttons would be a bit more clearer as they were very hard to find and in regards to people using the webiste it may be hard for them to navigate around the page.
For our opening sequence, another class member looked at it and gave us feedback. they said that they thought the music was effective, and worked well with the edited graphics and the retro theme. they also thought it was relevant to our target audience to get an idea of different aspects of gaming and how this will be able to appeal to those who are interested in knowing more about the subject. However, she said there could be a few more shots to make sequence more engaging rather than shots of a recorded screen with just game play and no shots at all of them with playing.
